Based in Gonzales, Texas, GVEC Internet serves residents and businesses across South Texas. GVEC is part of a diversified cooperative delivering electricity, internet, HVAC, solar, battery, and electrician services.

What They Needed

GVEC set out to modernize how customers discovered, evaluated, and purchased its services as the organization expanded its footprint. GVEC’s goal was to replace fragmented online processes with a purpose-built eCommerce experience that could support diverse service territories, shifting network boundaries, and multiple access technologies.

Address complexity across rural and suburban communities created a challenge. Fixed wireless availability and speeds often varied at a highly localized level, making accurate service qualification difficult using conventional address-based systems. GVEC also lacked reliable insight into how customers were navigating its digital properties. Without clear performance data, it was difficult to identify friction points, evaluate demand patterns, or prioritize investments.

What We Delivered

Atlas Digital Group introduced its CORE platform as the foundation of GVEC’s new digital sales environment, connecting it directly into GLDS’s BroadHub to unify ordering, provisioning, and installation workflows. The result was a purpose-built digital storefront that simplified service discovery and purchase, delivering a clean, intuitive experience modeled on leading consumer retail platforms.

Rather than relying solely on address-level validation, the solution incorporated GVEC’s existing GIS and mapping tools to shape service qualification and offer presentation around localized network conditions.

This enabled GVEC to define granular service zones that reflected real-world coverage and performance, particularly for fixed wireless, where network quality and speeds can change within short distances.

This structure allowed GVEC to display precise, location-specific offers while extending reach to households that traditional systems often fail to recognize as serviceable. In parallel, Atlas and GLDS added automated cart recovery and advanced performance reporting, giving GVEC new clarity into customer behavior, engagement patterns, and purchase completion.
